An accountant for individuals and small businesses

Tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, and year-round planning — handled directly by the person doing the work.

Accountant

For individuals & businesses

Most people's experience of an accountant is a stack of documents dropped off in February and a number handed back in April, with no explanation of where it came from or what could have changed it.

This is a small practice, run deliberately that way. You work with Tony Pisarenko directly — a Marine Corps veteran, former federal auditor, and CTEC Registered Tax Preparer with over a decade in accounting. No call center, no being handed to someone you have never met.

What we handle

  • Individual tax returns, federal and state
  • Business returns — S-Corp, C-Corp, partnership, and LLC
  • Nonprofit Form 990 returns
  • Prior-year and catch-up filings if you have fallen behind
  • Monthly bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online
  • Payroll for small employers
  • Year-round tax planning, not an April scramble
Who we work with

Where this fits

Individuals

People who want their personal return done right, and want to understand the number at the end of it.

Small businesses

Owners who need the books, payroll, and returns handled as one thing rather than three.

People who are behind

Unfiled years, missing records, an agency letter. Common, fixable, and not judged here.

How it works

What working together looks like

1

A free first conversation

You describe what is going on. We tell you what we would do and what it costs. No charge, no pressure.

2

A clear scope and price

You get the number up front, not a surprise invoice after the fact.

3

Handled, and explained

The work gets done on schedule, and you get told what it means in plain English.

Common questions

Accountant, answered

Are you a CPA?

No. Tony is a CTEC Registered Tax Preparer (#A334694) and a former federal auditor with over a decade in accounting. That covers tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, and planning for individuals and small businesses. If your situation genuinely requires a CPA — an audit, an attestation engagement, certain lender requirements — we will say so directly instead of taking work we are not the right fit for.

Do you work with individuals, or only businesses?

Both. A large share of clients are individuals who want their personal taxes done properly, and many use us for both a company and their personal filing, which keeps the two consistent with each other.

Can you help with years of unfiled taxes?

Yes, and it is more common than people think. We work out what is missing, rebuild the records where needed, and file the back years so you can get current and stop carrying it around.

Do you work remotely?

Yes, and most clients do. Documents are shared securely, QuickBooks access is shared directly, and the whole relationship works by phone and email from anywhere in the country. Local clients around the Sacramento area can meet in person.

What does it cost?

It depends on the work, and we quote up front rather than surprise you later. A straightforward individual return is very different from monthly bookkeeping plus payroll for a growing business. Small businesses wanting everything handled can start from the $500 a month bundle.

Ready to talk to an actual accountant?

The first conversation is free — bring your situation and we will tell you honestly what it needs.
