APAL LLC ("we," "us") is an accounting firm based in Rancho Murieta, California, run by Tony Pisarenko (CTEC Registered Tax Preparer #A334694). This policy describes how we handle information collected through this website, trustapal.com. It does not cover information you share with us as a client through other channels, which is protected by professional confidentiality obligations.
The information you actively submit through our forms or the live-chat widget is your name, phone number, email address, the service you are interested in, and your message. The site also uses the Google tag (Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement) to understand how visitors find us and which pages lead to inquiries; it sets cookies in your browser and sends usage data — such as pages visited and whether a form was submitted — to Google. We do not send Google the contents of anything you type.
We use the information you submit for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry. We will not add you to a marketing list, send you newsletters, or contact you about anything unrelated to what you asked.
This website is hosted by Netlify, and form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify Forms on our behalf. Netlify may also collect standard server logs (such as IP addresses) as part of operating the hosting service. You can read Netlify's own privacy policy at netlify.com/privacy. Fonts are served directly from this website, so viewing the site does not send requests to any font provider.
If you use the live-chat widget, your chat messages and any contact details you share in the chat are processed and stored by Crisp (Crisp IM SAS) on our behalf so we can reply to you. You can read Crisp's privacy policy at crisp.chat/en/privacy.
Usage measurement is processed by Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads). Google describes its handling of this data at policies.google.com/privacy, and you can opt out of Analytics cookies with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing purposes. The only parties with access to your form submissions are APAL LLC and Netlify, our form processor.
We keep contact form submissions only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and follow up if you become a client. If you would like a submission deleted sooner, just ask.
You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email tony@trustapal.com and we will respond promptly.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to know what personal information we collect about you, to request its deletion or correction, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. As described above, we collect what you submit through our forms and chat, plus usage measurement from the Google tag. We do not sell your personal information. Measurement is used to understand our own website and advertising performance; if we ever adopt advertising features beyond this (such as remarketing lists), we will update this policy first. If we change how this website handles your information, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
